Previously, rumors of a possible Migos breakup surfaced after it was revealed that Cardi B and Offset both unfollowed Quavo and Takeoff. As of now, none of the Migos members have touched on the subject of a split, and Quavo recently ducked questions related to the breakup rumors. Despite the alleged issues, QC’s CEO Pee Thomas took to Twitter to speak highly of Takeoff and his impact on rap music.
Pee went on to say, “Takeoff so underrated. If he cared more about this rap game he would definitely be stepping on y’all n***as but unfortunately he don’t gaf.” Thomas elaborated further before promoting Takeoff and Quavo's new single “Hotel Lobby,” saying: “Been like that since [we] first met him.
