As part of Tidal's commemoration of the life and legacy of The Notorious BIG on what would've been his 50th birthday, Jay-Z and Diddy spoke about the void that was left by Big's murder and Pac's as well.

Jay opened up about how it felt being the one to "step up" and "fill Big's and Pac's shoes" after the two pillars of hip-hop were chopped down by gun violence. Diddy commended Jay on his ability to withstand the pressure and actually do the impossible by filling those shoes and "pushing the culture forward."
