Cobb County jail officials responded to Young Thug's claims that the rapper was subjected to "inhumane" living conditions while locked up by granting access to news cameras into the facilities. According to one jail official, they are operating an "above board" jail in Cobb County and didn't want the reports from Young Thug's camp to misrepresent how the facility is managed.

“The purpose of today is to let the community know that we’re not doing anything that we don’t want them to see,” Col. Temetris Atkins said. “We run an above-board jail and we want anybody and everybody to know that.”
