Much like Muhammad Ali's famous jog through the streets of Kinshasha, Zaire, nearly 47 years ago, DaBaby's recent ascension upon the townspeople of Lagos, Nigeria was nearly just as spirited.

The North Carolina native arrived in Africa's most populous country yesterday, ahead of his rumored collaboration with Nigerian-American Afrobeats star, Davido. Since then, various video clips have surfaced of DaBaby making his way through the streets of Lagos, while being swarmed by adoring fans as they chanted his name out loud in hopes of garnering his acknowledgment. Another video clip displayed a more sincere side of the award-winning rapper as he purchased a bag of popcorn from a local in exchange for a $100 bill.

It's being speculated that the purpose of DaBaby's first-ever visit to the country of Nigeria is so that he and Davido can shoot a music video for an unreleased song that they have recorded together.
