Things got tense during Game 5 of the Playoffs between the Mavericks and the Suns on Monday (May 10) night after Mavericks forward Marquese Chriss fouled Suns center Bismack Biyombo on a lob play. Chris pushed Biyombo's arm out of the way after the Suns player tried to approach Chriss after the foul. The two were then given a technical foul and ejected from the game.

Instead of going their separate ways, Chriss followed after Biyombo toward the Suns locker room, leading security to step in. As Chriss went down the tunnel after Biyombo, he was followed by Dallas backup center Boban Marjanovic and grabbed by security, and escorted toward Dallas' locker room.

Neither player addressed the media following the incident, but Suns coach Monty Williams spoke. He stated, "I get the competitiveness of the game, but we're just trying to win the game. All the stuff that happens that's extracurricular, I don't have anything to say about that. I understand how chippy it can be. We just want to win the game and that's it. We're trying to get one more win, and that's our focus right now."
