Bobby Shmurda Says He'd Take a Verse from Pop Smoke Over a Jay-Z Verse

While appearing on DJ Akademiks' Off the Record podcast, Brooklynite Bobby Shmurda was asked who he'd rather have a verse from - Jay-Z or Pop Smoke. 

Much to the chagrin of many hip-hop purests, Bobby took the unconventional route and chose the late Pop Smoke. Akademiks said something with those two would've been a "smash" and the “whole New York City gonna love.”

To formally answer the question, Shmurda said “Pop Smoke,” without any hesitation. He added, “that’s my little n**a, [...] I love Jay too, but I like it.”
