Ben Simmons, the much maligned former No. 1 overall pick forced his way out of Philadelphia after a postseason meltdown led to a falling out with Joel Embiid, head coach Doc Rivers, and the Sixers fans.

Now with the Brooklyn Nets, Simmons is scheduled to make his season debut in Game 4 against the Boston Celtics following his pre-trade holdout and nursing a nagging back injury. While making one's season debut in the playoffs is unconventional, Simmons is optimistic about playing under these unique conditions.

“It’s a good challenge, but I’m looking forward to it, especially playing with these guys," Simmons said.

Simmons is a utility player on the court, especially on the defensive end. However, it's difficult to see how Brooklyn will integrate him into the offense at this point in the season to any great impact.
