Cardi B and Offset recently shared photos of their newborn baby boy Wave Set Cephus. Along with the images of the child going viral, the baby's name was a focus as well. Now, it has been revealed that Offset was the one who came up with the name for the child.
Cardi and Offset began coming up with names immediately upon hearing they were having a son. Offset reportedly suggested Wave, which Cardi loved as well. However, the couple reportedly spent time coming up with the middle name, initially leaning towards Marley, a play on Cardi B’s middle name—Marlenis. Cardi wasn’t feeling Marley, saying it didn’t have the right feel. When the child was born, they decided on Set, another name Offset came up with.
News of this comes after Offset and Cardi revealed the child’s name and the first photos of him. The reveal came almost eight months after his birth.
