LeBron James recently spoke about the future of Russell Westbrook in Los Angeles and was very candid about what he thought. “I’m not going to sit here and make decisions for the front office. I love being teammates with Russ. That’s just what it is,” said James. Now, LeBron has addressed why he didn’t chase the NBA scoring title.

The Lakers didn’t make the NBA playoffs this year, and that was part of the reason he didn’t stress going after the title. If James ended up playing the last few games of the season, he might have cracked the title. However, going after the title while his team was in non-playoff standings didn’t feel right.

“I'm 19 years in. Going after a scoring title when you're not making the postseason is the wackest thing ever,” said LeBron James. The storied NBA star also spoke about how he, Russell Westbrook, and Anthony Davis connected in games during the season. James noted they didn't hit their fullest potential as a trio on the floor "because we weren't on the damn floor together." Take a look above.
