Despite the laundry list of falsehoods exposed before and after his presidency, Donald J. Trump recently suggested that he's the most honest person to ever live.

During a rally in Selma, NC to support GOP candidates ahead of the North Carolina primaries, Trump recounted a conversation with a friend who called him "the cleanest [man] on earth." This was in reference to Trump's supposed clean record during his administration.

“‘You know, you’ve been investigated years and years, millions and millions of pages of documents, they found nothing,’” Trump recalled his friend saying. "I've got to be the cleanest sheriff," Trump said. "I think I'm the most honest human being, perhaps, that God ever created." It's important to note, the Washington Post's fact checker had Trump telling an average of 21 lies per day during his four years in office.
