The heralded rap career of an iconic emcee like T.I. was bound to have a high-profile beef or two. So, it came as no surprise when he had his share of disputes with fellow rappers like 50 Cent and Lil Flip in his heyday. But since the Atlanta native began his transition from rap to stand-up comedy, back in January, he has already found himself involved in an exchange with fellow comedians Godfrey and more recently Lauren Knight.

On Monday night, T.I. pulled up to an open mic night event at Our Bar ATL to perform a routine, but what started off as an evening of fun took a turn for the worse when the proprietor of the show cracked a joke about the sexual assault allegations made against him and his wife last year. In response, T.I. grabbed a microphone and proceeded to clap back at Lauren Knight, interrupting her presentation while she was on stage and he remained in the audience.

“There was no f***ing crime. There is nothing to charge me for, or my wife,” T.I. said to Knight, as he commanded her to remain silent. “Shut the f**k up for a second! Hey, listen. No, no, no. As many times as you joke on that s**t, n***a, I’m gonna check yo motherf***in’ ass as long as it takes. N***a, when you stop talking about it, when you stop playing with me and mine, I’ma stop saying something.”

Knight tried to make light of the intense showdown, by dancing around on stage while T.I. was in the middle of his rant, but that did not stop the "Grand Hustle" rapper from continuing to condemn her for making a joke about the case involving him and his wife, Tiny.

"Ain't no motherf***in' case, ain't gon' be no motherf***in' case, 'cause I ain't did nothing wrong and my wife ain't did nothin' wrong," he continued. "And if you keep on playin' with me, n***a, I'm gon' motherf***in' continue to confront you publicly, verbally."

At that point, it still wasn't completely clear whether or not the two were engaged in an act to entertain the crowd or if T.I. was genuinely upset at the host because they both had a mic in their hands and the onlookers could be heard laughing and cheering during the exchange. Nevertheless, Knight made an attempt to downplay T.I.'s words.

“T.I. is innocent. I truly believe it,” Knight said. “Give it up for him. There are no charges.”

This only seemed to annoy T.I. even more as he made his way to the stage, hugged Knight, and then grabbed her microphone just as she began to express her feelings about freedom of speech as a comedian. After that, the house DJ turned the music up and the two exchanged more words that could not be ascertained over the loudness. But once the music stopped, Knight addressed the crowd one last time before finally making amends with T.I.

"Give it up for 'One Knight Only' because this is my s**t ni**a! Don't get it twisted, this is my f***ing show ni**a! This is my f***ing mic ni**a and I do motherf***ing comedy which means I say what the f**k I want to say and that's on my momma," she said. "Let me make another motherf***ing thing clear, we don't come on stage to disenfranchise nobody, to s**t on nobody, especially no Black people, so ya'll won't put that on my body...on God...Imma say what the f**k I want to say...Comedy is up for f***ing grabs and nobody is excluded from that..and I love T.I."

At the end of her fiery soliloquy, T.I. returned the love and the night ended on a positive note. Following the tense exchange, T.I. took to Instagram to share a video of him and Knight reconciling, and highlighted her as a comedian.
