Alex Carrington, a former third-round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills, was tased and arrested Monday morning, following a wild altercation with the Lockport Police Department.
It's being reported that Carrington had been speeding in a location just outside of Buffalo, New York, with his headlights turned off, which caught the attention of police officers nearby. Once the officers pulled the ex-football player over, they suspected that he was under the influence of alcohol. Hence, they asked him to step out of the vehicle and take a sobriety test. That's when they noticed a gun magazine in his possession and at that point, all bets were off.
With a loaded handgun under his leg, Carrington refused the officers' requests and attempted to start his car so that he could pull off a daring escape. But instead, the cops used a stun gun on him and apprehended him from the vehicle, where they discovered two more high-capacity gun magazines in his possession.
In the aftermath of the incident, Carrington's car was impounded and he was arrested on two criminal possession of weapons charges, in addition to driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, and more.
