In this clip, OG Maco explains why he once considered retiring from rap music back in 2018. He states that as a rapper who has a genuine passion for making rock music, he was unhappy with being boxed into the societal confines of hip hop. Especially considering the fact that he was rock singer before he was a rapper. He then praises artists like Tripp Redd for successfully implementing rock music into his rap albums.

As the conversation between OG Maco and Shirely Ju unfolds, the College Park native talks about why he was excited to sign with Quality Control Music (QC) and why he decided to part ways with the record label. Lastly, the OG Maco talks about his favorite Kanye West albums and settles on "Graduation" as the one that he enjoyed the most. He also talks about the brilliance behind the production of albums like "808s & Heartbreak" and "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy."

OG Maco also shares the details about surviving a horrific car crash and contracting a skin eating disease during the year 2019. He details the obstacles that he had to overcome in order to find the proper treatment to heal his face from all of the damage that the skin disease caused. As the conversation continues, the College Park native shares that he had to battle depression while he was dealing with the skin eating disease largely because of the way people reacted to his appearance in public. Lastly, he talks about the outpouring of support that he received once he shared details about his traumatic experience with his fans on social media.
