Ever since Issa Rae wrapped up the series finale episode of her Emmy-awarding winning HBO show, Insecure, fans have been eagerly anticipating the start of her upcoming production with the same network called Rap Sh*t. But, as the wait grows longer and longer, many of her supporters have begun to shift their attention to the screenwriter's personal life and her recent marriage to business mogul, Louis Diame.
Subsequently, this has led to a growing amount of speculation about when the 37-year-old will give birth to the power couple's first offspring. Many have suggested that the process is well underway after a video of the actress led fans to believe she was pregnant. This prompted Issa Rae to address the rumors on Twitter in a series of messages that came across as stern and somewhat humourous.
“I am not pregnant, f**kyouverymuch,” Rae wrote. “LET A B**CH EAT DRINK AND BE MERRY.”
