Tyler, the Creator, has always been candid about his thoughts on music and funnily delivered his thoughts along the way. The producer and rapper always makes it a point to reach out and work with newer artists, forming bonds through music. Recently, Tyler linked up with Gunna and revealed that he didn’t necessarily vibe with the ‘Drip or Drown’ rapper at first.
Although the two have unique styles that have accelerated their rise to stardom, Tyler said he thought Gunna was a “weirdo” at first. Via Gunna’s Instagram stories, the rapper posted a video of Tyler, asking the Odd Future rapper to speak on why he thought Gunna was a weirdo at first. “I thought you were weirdo, and now me and Gunna are best friends in the whole wide world.” Tyler then corrected himself by using Gunna’s real name, adding, “Correction, me and Sergio are best friends in the whole wide world.” The stamp was met with Gunna’s approval, who said “Okay, correction,” while laughing and showing off Godard and Golf Le Fleur trunks.
