Jack Harlow is one of the most-streamed hip-hop artists on Spotify, but for some reason, whenever the Kentucky native ventures out beyond the borders of his home state, he is often associated with another one of its heralded exports, Kentucky Friend Chicken. So, it seemed very fitting that he commenced a one-year partnership with the world's second-largest fast-food chain back in December of 2021, in order to provide relief for victims of the infamous Kentucky tornado. But less than six months into the deal, it appears as though the Grammy-nominated rapper is already prepared to take his relationship with the "Finger Linkin' Good" franchise to the next level.
Yesterday, Jack Harlow and KFC unveiled a brand new menu for the eatery called "Jack Harlow's Kentucky Fried Favorites." When the 24-year-old finally broke the news to the public, he could hardly contain his excitement to share the meals that he's enjoyed since childhood with his fans worldwide.
“Partnering up with KFC feels like poetic justice," Harlow said. "I’ve begun traveling the world and no matter how far I go, KFC is one of the first things people want to bring up when they find out where I’m from...I’m excited to align myself with something that started in Kentucky but resonates all over the globe. I grew up going to the restaurant with my family, here are a few of the menu items I’ve been enjoying since I was a child.”
The Chief Marketing Officer at KFC also weighed in to toast one of his company's most anticipated celebrity collaborations. "It goes without saying that our classics will never go out of style, but as Jack's favorites, a few of them are getting celebrity status," said Nick Chavez. "We are excited to make Jack's favorites available now on the KFC app, and can't wait to share what's next with Jack Harlow and KFC. Stay tuned. You won't want to miss it."
Although the menu for Jack’s Kentucky Fried Favorites is subject to change, it currently consists of the Spicy KFC Chicken Sandwich, Secret Recipe Fries, Extra Crispy Tenders, a side of Mac & Cheese and KFC's signature biscuits.
