The deep friendship between LeBron James and Drake has been well documented since the four-time NBA MVP first appeared in the Canadian rapper's "Forever" video back in 2011. Since then, the pairing has teamed up to invest in tech companies like StatusPro and Canadian films like Black Ice. Their business endeavors together stretch far and wide, all across the world and their bond has only gotten stronger.

So, when the two men met up for dinner at Harbour 60 in Toronto during the Laker's road trip to Canada, they engaged in a philanthropic effort by giving $100,000 to a mother and son in need. But the giving spirit did not stop there because, in the middle of the charitable occurrence, Drake turned to his friend LeBron and revealed that he would be giving $1 million to the elementary school that NBA superstar built in his hometown of Akron, Ohio called the I Promise School.

"I know me and you talk about a lot of things," Drake said to Lebron. "We love watches, we love cars, we love nice things. But, I know that what means the most to you in this life...I've been trying to figure out what I could do for...this moment...so myself and Eddie [from the Crypto Betting Platform known as Skate], we're gonna dedicate $1 million to your I Promise School and I'm gonna come drop it off myself before the school year is over."
