Six years ago, Quavo made his acting debut on network television with the Migos during an appearance on a critically acclaimed FX television series Atlanta. Four years later, Quavo returned to the small screen with a short-lived appearance on Narcos: Mexico. The 30-year-old rapper played a drug dealer on both shows, with very few scripted lines, but apparently, he feels that it was enough to propel him to a co-starring role in an upcoming feature film alongside Jack Harlow.
A camera operator from TMZ caught up with the "Stir Fry" rapper at the LAX airport to get his take on the recent announcement that fellow rapper Jack Harlow would be filling the role of Woody Harrelson (as Billy Hoyle) in the upcoming reboot of White Men Can't Jump. To that, Quavo made his case that he should be cast in the role of Wesley Snipes (as Sidney Deane).
"I think they need to call me, so me and Jack Harlow can do it," Huncho said."I need to play Wesley Snipes' role."
There's still no word on who has been selected to play the role that Wesley Snipes made famous back in 1991. The new White Men Can't Jump film is being produced by Brooklyn Nets power forward Blake Griffin who may very well have an appreciation for what Quavo could bring to the role considering the fact that he teamed up with Jack Harlow last year during Bleacher Report's Open Run tournament. Quavo and Jack Harlow dominated 2 Chainz and Lil Baby in a game of two-on-two basketball and would go on to win the whole tournament.
