Chief Keef took to Instagram on Sunday (March 13) to reveal that his beloved grandmother had passed away.
The Chicago-born rapper paid tribute to his grandmother in a post, as he shared a photo of them hugging, along with photos of her surrounded by her grandchildren. Chief Keef also included a video in the post, where he bought his grandmother a new Range Rover that he surprised her with via FaceTime.
The accompanying caption reads, "Im so happy i got to make you proud granny never thought this would happen to me, cant believe my grammy just dipped on me, ima miss you too much and im sorry grandma i really i am i would give all this sh*t up just to start over because i know what to do now especially with you granny."
Chief Keef went on to tell his grandmother he was sorry for putting her through things when he was younger, and he added that he thought she would live to be 98. Chief Keef then closed by stating he would've held on longer if he knew his last hug with his grandmother was at Christmas. He also added that he retired his grandmother 11 years ago.
