Previously, Azealia Banks called out Kanye West for money she alleges the ‘Donda’ rapper owes her. Now, Banks has called out West against, this time for his stem player. Along with that, she called the rapper a “deaf mascot.”
An Instagram user commented that Kanye West was on to something in reference to his stem player. However, Banks commented directly to the IG user, saying, “He's onto absolutely nothing. He redesigned a portable speaker, there is no API (application programming interface) or appetizing UI/UX design and ISN'T KANYE'S IDEA.”
Banks then talked about how the stem player came from a London start-up called Kano Technology before West “slapped” his name on the product. Azealia went on to say, “I wish Black men would stop being so quick to believe that this man has done anything revolutionary. He's like the blind, dumb, deaf mascot put in place for Black folk to idolize and not do their own research. IT'S A F**KING PORTABLE SPEAKER/MP3 player.” Read her full comment above.
