In wake of his dramatic displays of passive-aggressiveness towards Pete Davidson, Kanye West has become the target of criticism from every direction in urban news. His actions have been so outlandish that they recently caught the attention of some prominent names in rock music such as Gene Simmons. Not to be outdone by Gene Simmons, the lead singer of Slipknot recently declared open season on Ye's business decision to overchange his fans for a new album that isn't available on streaming platforms.
In an interview with Metro, the 48-year-old rock vocalist openly challenged the logic behind Kanye's choice to charge fans $200 in order to stream his new album, Donda 2, exclusively on a device called the Stem Player and he did not hold back.
"You’re assuming that the audience has the access and same technology that you have but you’re a f**king moron for doing that," Taylor said. "Are you serious? It doesn’t work that way. The thinking that that’s a smart thing to do just shows you how convoluted and off the f**king property Kanye West really is...When you’ve got that much money and that much people around you telling you exactly what you want to hear, your concept of reality just goes right out the f**king window."
The Iowa native did not stop there as his profanity-laced take on Kanye's business practices continued.
"People can’t afford their fucking apartments for f**k's sake," Taylor added. "It’s not right. It’s just so pompous and ridiculous. If we [Slipknot] did that, we would be f**king demonized but I guarantee people are looking at him like he’s a genius, and it’s like for f**k's sake, pull your head out of your a**, put it on CDs and just fucking give it to people. If you want to do that, put it together in a way that people can actually listen to it. It’s such f**king horses**t."
