DaBaby recently spoke with DJ Whoo Kid on SiriusXM and detailed how his collaborative project with NBA YoungBoy came together. He said it's been some time in the making as the two would bump into each other but never got around to locking in the studio. Not to mention NBA YoungBoy's legal troubles. However, after his most recent release from jail, DaBaby and YoungBoy finally locked in and completed the project.
During his conversation with DJ Whoo Kid, DaBaby set expectations extremely high by saying it's on the level of Watch the Throne. According to DaBaby, there has not been a collaborative project like this since Jay-Z and Kanye came together over a decade ago.
