Construction workers in the city of Winter Haven, Florida recently witnessed a terrifying industrial accident that resulted in the death of one of their own.

According to reports, a 40-year-old man named Aaron Henderson had been working as a contracted traffic control employee near the landfill job site when he took a break to relieve himself in a nearby porta-potty. Moments later, a bulldozer operator unintentionally ran over the employee and the portable toilet, while driving with the blade upright; obliterating everything in its path.

Henderson's family and friends described him as a family man whose personality was uplifting. His brother, Lenard Henderson, added that the victim "came up in the streets" before deciding to turn his life around.

Having been hired just three weeks prior to the incident, Henderson was a relatively new employee. His untimely death marked the first time that anyone had ever died at the landfill site. The landfill itself fields hundred of dump trucks with heavy equipment on a daily basis.

While there is still no word on whether or not the bulldozer operator who ran over Aaron Henderson will face criminal charges, the Occupation Safety and Health Administration is investigating the occurrence at the request of the victim's family. Notwithstanding, an autopsy was conducted and the medical examiner ascertained that Henderson's death was indeed an accident.
