Deion Sanders was previously in the headlines after bringing Brittany Renner to talk to his team at Jackson State. Now, the former NFL player is back in the news after reportedly having two of his toes amputated in a foot surgery complication.
Via Instagram, Sanders revealed his surgery, saying he had to get two of his toes removed weeks ago. Sanders’ big toe and second toe were removed according to a clip from his ‘Coach Prime’ documentary on Barstool Sports. The footage showed Sanders’foot following the procedure, with Sanders saying, “I endured a lot while I was in the hospital during our historic season, but I am so thankful for GOD being there to help pull me through.”
Sanders previously talked about getting his foot to heal following a surgery he had last Fall to fix a long-time foot injury. The coach noted he had to get eight surgeries to try and get his foot right. Stay tuned for more updates.
