Update 03/03/2022 10:06am:

The list of the highest-paid rappers of 2021 was recently released by former Forbes editor and longtime "Hip Hop Cash Kings" list creator Zack O'Malley Greenburg. It ranked Jay-Z at the top spot with a reported $470 million, followed by Kanye with $250 million, and Diddy in third place with $75 million made for the year.

Drake made the fourth spot with a reported $50 million brought in for 2021. While the figure seems astounding, Drake insinuated that he brought in much more for the year. Drake commented on an Instagram post about the list and his reported yearly income with a laughing emoji. He didn't comment further, but many took it as him laughing at the low number. You can check it out up top.

Former Forbes editor and longtime "Hip Hop Cash Kings" list creator Zack O'Malley Greenburg recently released the list of the highest-paid rappers of 2021 for his website, Zogblog

Diddy, Jay-Z, and Kanye topped the list with a combined $800 million earned for the year. Jay-Z was at the top of the list after bringing in $470 million last year- the largest amount of his career. This was due in part to him selling his streaming company TIDAL to Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey’s Square for $297 million.

Kanye came in second on the list, taking home a reported $250 million, with a bulk of the money coming from sales from his Yeezy shoes. Diddy followed on the list at the number 3 spot, bringing in $75 million, thanks in part to Ciroc's partnerships with Pandora and Dolce & Gabbana.

The full list is as follows:

10. Tech N9ne — $25 million
10. Doja Cat — $25 million
10. Birdman — $25 million
