Friends and family of Jeremiah Taylor were shocked to hear that he was shot and killed last week. Taylor was known around Memphis as one of the main caretakers of Young Dolph's memorial outside of Makeda's Cookies, and a local ABC affiliate had just interviewed him about his dedication to the memorial back in January, which you can view above.

During the interview with ABC 24, Taylor, an army veteran, revealed that he grew up in the same neighborhood as Dolph, and he added that he had met him several times. Taylor added that Dolph's death hit him hard, and he decided to step up as a caretaker for Dolph's memorial to make a positive impact on his community.

Not much information has been released surrounding Taylor's death, aside from him being shot and crashing into a pole. Frank Gottie, who helped Taylor with upkeep of Dolph's memorial, spoke to local outlets about Taylor, stating, "Jeremiah was a great person and he was so on point. He was helpful he would try to help anybody."
