Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is catching backlash after a video showed him turning his back and walking away from a photographer who fell off the stage at the team’s Super Bowl victory party on Wednesday (February 16).
The photographer, Kelly Smiley, later revealed on Twitter that she severed her spine in the accident. A GoFundMe has been set up to help cover medical expenses.
Footage of Smiley's fall shows Stafford saying "Oh my" before walking away. His stunned wife Kelly then turned her attention to the photographer before the video cuts off.
