Some may argue that 50 Cent first generated a buzz for himself in the rap game by famously trolling the most prominent emcees during the early 2000s. His proclivity for teasing others even contributed to the demise of his rival Ja Rule. Nevertheless, when he dropped the music video for "In Da Club," it signified his star power as a musician and it shot him to the very forefront of mainstream music.

The iconic image of the bulked-up rapper being lowered from the ceiling, while hanging upside down is something that music fans will always associate with the nostalgia of his heyday and the historic collaborations that followed with his mentors Eminem and Dr. Dre. But that was nearly twenty years ago and a lot has changed since then.

Today, 50 Cent is nearing his late forties and he has become more known for his work as the executive producer of shows like Power, Power Book II: Ghost, and BMF than his music as a solo artist. Not only have his business ventures shifted but so has his physical appearance. 50 Cent is no longer the chiseled bachelor who was once romantically linked to celebrities like Vivica A. Fox. That is a notion that was on full display during last night's Super Bowl halftime show and presented an opportunity for the ultimate troll to get a dose of his own medicine in the Twitterverse.

When 50 Cent made a surprise cameo appearance during the live performance, he attempted to recreate the legendary scene from his "In Da Club" music video. Although the show itself received rave reviews and the Grammy-Award-winning rapper was lauded for his contribution, fans couldn't help but notice how noticeably different his weight looked in comparison to the way it did back in 2003. Therefore, music fans took to Twitter to roast him in a manner similar to the way that he once playfully trolled his rap contemporaries like Jay-Z and Teyana Taylor.

In response, 50 Cent took to Instagram to acknowledge a couple of memes that mocked his "In Da Club" music video while also reminding the world that he's still a highly successful businessman and one of the hottest television producers in the game.

"Who the fvck did this?" 50 Cent wrote as a caption to a meme of D12's Bizarre spoofing the scene.
