Yesterday, it was announced that a blockbuster deal was made when James Harden was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, and two first-round picks. Hours later, LeBron James and Kevin Durant made their picks for the 2022 NBA All-Star Draft, which was cast live on NBA on TNT.
As the list of names dwindled down to six players, Charles Barkley began cracking jokes about Durant avoiding picking his former Nets teammate, James Harden. Charles also addressed rumors that Harden spent the last few days trying to get out of Brooklyn.
When faced with choosing Rudy Gobert or Harden, Durant chose Gobert, stating that he needed "size" on his team. The commentary led to lots of laughs from LeBron, who covered his face with a clipboard when it was revealed that Harden would be on James' team. You can check out the exchange in full above.
