Atlanta rapper Big Bhris was recently arrested and charged for allegedly shooting an Atlanta cop six times on Monday, Feb. 7. The 22-year-old rapper, whose real name is Christian Eppinger, was also identified as an alleged member of the Young Slime Life Bloods.

According to the warrant, Eppinger shot Officer David Rodgers as the cop was attempting to arrest him on a robbery warrant from 2021. Rodgers was reportedly shot four times in the shoulder, once in the knee, and once in the head before being rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Eppinger was hit with attempted murder and street gang activity charges in relation to the shooting and was denied bail on Tuesday. APD Deputy Chief Darin Schierbaum has also stated that Officer Rodgers has "a long road of recovery."
