T.I. has been building his stand-up career in recent months, and footage recently surfaced of him performing at the famed Laugh Factory. T.I., who goes by Tip Harris during his comedy sets, was getting genuine laughs in the short clip that has been spreading across social media.
On Monday (February 7), T.I. also shared that he will be performing at Shaq's All-Star Comedy Jam later this week. He shared the announcement via Instagram along with the caption, "Work your way to what you want. Thank You to all my veteran comedian sensei Patnas who gave me the game early. "
T.I. opened up on Instagram about taking a leap into the comedy world in a lengthy Instagram post, where he stated, "n about 2 weeks of doing stand-up comedy full time (every day 2-3 shows a night sometimes) I've learned from,& earned the respect & approval of some of the funniest people I know in this shit. I can honestly say I've had nights where I tore they ass up (shown above 👆🏽)& I had nights I was figuring the sh*t out (nothing there I care to share😏)but I appreciate having the opportunity to adjust & improve."
Tip added, "I'm aware that a few may doubt my ability to hone the craft effectively in such a short time & I even appreciate that energy because that's what made me take this shit serious!!! & now... I think I LIKE IT HERE!!!"
