In this clip, Token talks about having the feeling of seeing one of his rap videos go viral at the age of 17 and the way in which that accomplishment landed him squarely on the radar of celebrities like Fred Durst (From Limp Bizkit) and Mark Wahlberg. He details the story of a phone with Mark Wahlberg that led to a genuine friendship that has lasted till this very day.
The 23-year-old rapper also attributed his debut role as an actor (in a film called Patriots Day) directly to his relationship with Mark Wahlberg before talking about the experience of being on the set of a feature film and why he may focus his attention on an acting career someday. He spoke on his decision to sign with Atlantic Records in lieu of remaining an independent artist and shared some details about the various revenue streams that kept him afloat before he signed his deal. Lastly, Token talked about his latest album, "Pink Is Better." He explains that the title stands for having a healthy emotional and physical balance in his life.
