LaMelo Ball has been balling this season, as the Charlotte Hornets have been showing off their skills against various teams in the NBA, with LaMelo being at the front of the franchise. However, Melo is facing issues off the court, as he’s being sued for millions by a publicist who claims she got stiffed in a Puma deal.

A publicist named Amber Johnson says LaMelo hired her in 2019 to get business deals but ended up stiffing her out of a deal down the line, according to court documents. Johnson says Ball and his camp agreed to give up 10 percent of any agreement she found and brought their way. Johnson alleges that she spoke to Puma in relation to a deal for Ball in 2019 and that she helped facilitate the talks between the brand and Ball, which led to the player getting a $100 million contract.

Johnson alleges she never got the 10% she was promised and also wasn’t given the $4,800 in reimbursements she was supposed to get for help Ball on other endeavors. As of now, Johnson is asking for $10 million in damages. Stay tuned for more updates.
