Azealia Banks Says She Turned Down Kanye Twice in a Week for Feature

Azealia Banks is known for being outspoken, and she didn't hold back on Kanye West in a recent post to her Instagram Stories. 

In her post, Azealia revealed, "Just turned down a Kanye collab request twice in one week. He's like officially useless garbage on his own." She added, "If he can stop being corny and make amends with Jay for watch the throne 2 (which prob won't happen, Jay doesn't play that dirty dope head sh*t) I *might* consider... But Id rather collab with Doja Cat than Kanye at this point. She's making better music than him."

This comes after Azealia dropped her single "F*** Him All Night" last year, which features cover art of Kanye's name spelled out on her nails. Azealia stated she did that "Because Kanye trolled me a lot," and she went on to tell Rolling Stone why she doesn't respect Kanye as an artist. 

She explained, "Listen to my music. Listen to the last five years of Kanye West’s music. I’m superior. I don’t have to talk about that which is beneath me. He’s been, I guess, selling sneakers and doing outrageous shit, everything but the music. When Kanye puts some music out that is important, then I guess we can have that conversation. But right now, he’s kind of just like a cultural figure." 

As for collaborating with Doja Cat, it's unlikely to happen, as Azealia has also taken aim at the "Juicy" artist on social media, stating that Doja "makes music for ten-year-olds." You can check out Azealia's post above.
