In the eyes of many, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has risen to prominence largely because of her out-of-the-box approach to American politics and her willingness to defend the lower-middle class. But unfortunately for the most famous member of "The Squad," not everyone views her in such a positive light.

In a tweet intended to defend her boyfriend from a scathing remark about his feet, made by a conservative news anchor, the Congresswoman wrote on Twitter, "If Republicans are mad they can't date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend's feet. Ya creepy weirdos."

After that tweet was sent out, the floodgates opened up. Last week, the 32-year-old Bronx native was hit with a barrage of verbal attacks from her conservative rival, Candace Owens, who responded to AOC's tweet by saying, "No I don't want to sleep with you," during a guest appearance on a Fox News evening telecast.

This week, Sarah Palin threw her hat into the ring by aiming a verbal assault directly at AOC. But the former Governor of Alaska did not stop there. She attacked AOC and Vice President Kamala Harris all in one swoop.

"Man, these fake feminists who bring the women's movement back so far by channeling everything right on back to 'Oh, it's our gender.' Doggone it, 'People don't like us because we're female,'" she said. "It's your work ethic. I'm really thankful that I was brought up in a place where gender truly has not mattered."

The bitter rivalry between these politicians has been simmering for quite some time now. While AOC and Kamala Harris have yet to respond to the latest barrage of insults, it may not be long before the public hears from them regarding this matter.
