Whether it's with DJ Akademiks, Logic, or Jim Jones, one thing is for certain: Freddie Gibbs is not afraid to air out his dirty laundry on the grand stage. While Akademiks has been the primary target of the rapper's social media rants as of late, it seems as though Freddie Gibbs has entered the new year in a similar fashion to the way he exited 2021, by trading insults with a fellow emcee.
This time, his retaliatory shot appears to be aimed Gunna for a line in "Poochie Gown" where the Atlanta-native said, "I can't f*** with Freddie Gibbs (No), N***as tellin' fibs (Fibs)."
"Pooche Gown" is the third song on Gunna's brand new album, DS4EVER. Prior to the album release date, Gunna sent out a tweet playfully addressing his disdain for Freddie Gibbs by writing, "When album drop Freddie Gibbs will the biggest moment of his career."
Not one for taking the high road, Freddie Gibbs clapped back at Gunna today with a meme taunting Gunna's diss. Gibbs chose to post the popular Tiffany "New York" Pollard photo with a caption that read, "Me waiting on the biggest moment of my career today."
Gunna has not responded to Gibbs' recent tweet, but "Poochie Gown" can be listened to above.
