The economic impact of the coronavirus can be felt all across the social spectrum. Ever since the pandemic shutdowns began to peak back in February of 2020, America has experienced a record number of foreclosures and evictions.

Now, it appears that the phenomenon may have affected Rich the Kid, as the New York native has reportedly not paid rent on his Manhattan home since August. So, in an effort to recoup the $41K that the "Plug Walk" rapper owes, his landlord is suing him for back pay that dates all the way back to the summer.

The 29-year-old also owes approximately $300,000 in back pay to a separate landlord in the Los Angeles area.

Under New York state law, renters living in the New York area will be protected from evictions until January 15, 2022.
