In this clip, Fredro Starr spoke with Shirley Ju about his friendship with DMX and how much he meant to hip-hop. Fredro recounted first meeting X and immediately knowing that he was going to be as big of a star as the hype around him projected. He said the best way to describe DMX is to look at him as Onyx all wrapped in one body.
Later in the clip, Fredro Starr gave his take on Jam Master Jay's alleged killers being arrested and why he thinks it's not worth discussing. According to Fredro, JMJ's death can never be resolved because he's no longer here. He also spoke about some of the things JMJ taught him.
