The aftermath of Kanye West’s failed presidential campaign is still making waves, as a new report that surfaced alleges Kanye West was a “GOP plant” during the 2020 presidential election.
A report that surfaced on ’The Daily Beast’ noted that West’s presidential campaign “seemingly went to great lengths to hide ‘potentially millions of dollars’ in services it got from a network of GOP ‘operatives.’” The rapper’s team allegedly didn’t report paying GOP advisers during his 2020 campaign, which means the rapper may have possibly broken federal laws. The report went on to say that among the “operatives” mentioned, some of the people who were advisers are considered to be a part of the Republican “elite.”
An assessment that was contributed to the Daily Beast report by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington communications director Jordan Libowitz says, “It’s pretty clear Kanye was a GOP plant, whether he knew it or not.” Stay tuned for more updates.
