YouTuber turned prizefighter Jake Paul recently opened up about the drawbacks of his new career and the signs that boxing may leave him with irreparable damage.

Paul opened up about his symptoms in an interview with journalist Graham Bensinger ahead of his rematch with Tyron Woodley.

"I notice it in conversations with like, with my girlfriend or friends, like, not remembering something that I should be able to remember that happened a couple days ago," he said. "Sometimes in my speech, where like every hundredth or two hundredth word, I'll mess up or, like, slur. Which I didn't do that before," he added.

According to Jake, he's had anywhere between 20 and 30 concussions in his lifetime. Some came during his time as a football player but he said many of them have occurred since entering the ring.

To combat the deleterious symptoms, Paul said he's been using psychedelics as therapy, specifically toad venom. "I've experimented with that and it's definitely helped out," he told Bensinger, citing "new research and science" contending that there are benefits to toad venom.
