LaVar Ball was almost completely correct about his sons becoming NBA stars. While LiAngelo Ball is currently in the G-League, Lonzo and LaMelo have emerged as valuable players in the NBA. LaMelo, however, is quickly rising as one of the brightest young stars as a member of the Michael Jordan-owned Charlotte Hornets.

The Big Baller Brand boss was recently asked about his youngest son playing for the sport's greatest player. When LaVar was asked about LaMelo seeking advice from Michael Jordan, he was dismissive of the idea.

"How often does [LaMelo] seek out advice from Michael Jordan? Never!" Lavar said. "What advice he 'gon give him? You tell me what advice he 'gon give him."

The interviewers were both shocked and entertained by LaVar's response and pointed out that Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time.

"Do you ever have milk in your refrigerator, man? And when the damn thing expires, I hope you throw it away," LaVar responded. "God****it, when the last time he won a championship? And the game has changed, what you 'gon tell him?"

LaVar also highlighted the lack of success the Charlotte Hornets have had under Jordan's ownership prior to his son arriving on the team. He said that whatever advice Jordan has, it should be given to LaMelo's teammates rather than the reigning Rookie of the Year.

The Hornets are currently ninth in the Eastern Conference with a 14-13 record. LaMelo Ball is averaging 20.0 points, 8.3 assists, and 7.7 rebounds per game in his second season.
