Bizzy Bone took to Instagram to issue a statement and apology after seemingly starting a fight at the Three 6 Mafia Vs Bone Thugs Verzuz. Bizzy could be heard saying, "Aye, yo… Aye, before we even get started, you ugly motherf**kers ain’t finna be mocking me while I’m on motherf**kin’ stage. Like straight the f**k up." He then appeared to throw his microphone, which sparked a brief altercation on the stage.
After coming back on stage and apologizing, Bizzy Bone opened up further on Instagram, writing, "I feel as a man there is a time to apologize and be the bigger person. Even if you do not feel wrong." He went on to apologize to organizers and Verzuz creator Swizz Beatz, and Bizzy Bone went on to address his onstage apology.
"When i got back on stage i meant what i said. I really hope you guys understand my passion for music and my seriousness about GOD. I really believe in what i say. Im a artist. I came back because i know a lot of people depended on me. It was not scripted but it ended perfect. A toast to Hip Hop. Sht gets a lil crazy sometimes."
He closed by telling Three 6 Mafia, "You guys did a HECK of a job and embracing me after that took class as well. This is real. I am real. God bless you all."

Things got heated during the Verzuz battle between Bone Thugs N Harmony and Three 6 Mafia, resulting in a physical altercation between both sides. There have been tense moments throughout the short life of the Verzuz platform but this marks the first of its kind for the event.
