Security footage from inside Oakland clothing store Prime 356 captured a long line of looters breaking in and stealing merchandise on Monday (November 22).

As the group of people ransacked the store, the security alarm was going off, which alerted the store's owner to call the police. In the 10 minutes that it took officers to arrive, the group of looters had left, and no arrests were made.

This comes amid a rise in looting thefts in the Bay Area, as high-end retailers like Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Burberry, and Dolce & Gabbana in the Union Square area were nearly emptied out over the weekend. Governor Gavin Newsom responded to the series of robberies, and he promised a stronger police presence.
