Darrell Brooks, the man accused of plowing into a crowd of Christmas parade-goers in Waukesha, WI, is currently being held in police custody after being charged with five counts of intentional homicide.
The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department released a new mugshot of the 39-year-old looking rather wide-eyed and scowling, ever so slightly. The charges against Brooks come after Waukesha police chief Daniel Thompson announced that terrorism was not a motive in the crash but ruled that the act was intentional.
As of Tuesday, 62 people in total have been reported to be injured due to the crash, including the five who lost their lives.
