Pete Rock Reveals His Beef with Young Dolph was Squashed Before He Passed

Various Hip Hop figured offered their condolences while expressing outrage and sadness over the murder of Young Dolph on Wednesday. While many of the celebrities were from today's era of rap, Dolph's death was also acknowledged by an unlikely pioneer.

Back in 2016, Pete Rock and Young Dolph feuded after the legendary producer insulted the Memphis rapper. Pete Rock referred to Young Dolph as a "trash" rapper on Instagram, which led Dolph to respond in the comments section and write, "I don't know u, and u don't know me [apparently]... But u lame as f*** bra."

The feud stopped there and eventually became a distant memory. However, Pete Rock reposted an image announcing the passing of Dolph. In the caption, he reminded his followers about his past issues with the late rapper while sending condolences to Dolph's family.

"We squashed our thing too," Pete Rock wrote. "Smh R.I.P. YOUNG DOLPH Condolences to his family."
