According to reports, a Georgia ambulance driver was involved in a crash that killed a dialysis patient and is now charged with driving under the influence and second-degree homicide-by-vehicle.

Just before 7:30 PM Nov 12, Kevin McCorvey, 34, drove the private ambulance vehicle into a ditch. As the vehicle rolled into a ditch, Wilton Thomason, 66, wasn't restrained and died in the crash. When authorities arrived, one of the officers claimed he could smell alcohol on McCorvey's breath. Soon after, the driver admitted to smoking marijuana, taking Adderall, and drinking alcohol before getting behind the wheel.

In addition to the charges mentioned above, McCorvey also faces charges of failure to maintain lane and possession of an open container.
