DJ Quik has threatened to sue Keefe D after he suggested in a recent interview that the rap legend was involved in the plot to kill The Notorious B.I.G.

Keefe D described the night of Biggie's death and his dealings with Diddy prior to the deadly incident. After expressing his belief that Biggie would still be alive if Diddy hadn't called off his crew for protection, Keefe D said he believed DJ Quik and Los Angeles radio personality Theo helped orchestrate the hit.

"He showed up with them Blood dudes," Keefe D said. "My homies was out and was like, 'Them n***** are here.' I went and relayed the messages that DJ Quik and the dude Theo -- he was a radio personality back then -- was down there with them dudes. That's where the s*** went down."

When asked about the theory that Death Row singer Jewell set up Biggie, Keefe rejected the claim and further implicated Quik and Theo.

"People be saying that she set him up and [stuff] like that. That's what the streets be saying, but I don't think Jewell would do that," he responded. "Me myself, I think Theo and them did 'em, the DJ dude. That's who I think did it. Him and Quik. That's what I think. I just think the set-up went down in that type of way, but I don't think homegirl did it 'cause Puff told me that they was there to sign with his label."

HipHopDX posted a clip of Keefe D's claim on Instagram, leading to a response from DJ Quik. The producer and rapper commented on the post and threatened legal action by writing, "I'm feeling real litigious right now."
