Cordae took to Instagram to show off his weight loss progress ahead of dropping his highly anticipated sophomore album, which will be called From a Bird's Eye View.
In the post, Cordae revealed that the weight loss was part of elevating himself "in mind, body, and spirit" while preparing his new project. He added, "I've become more self-reflective and self aware than ever. While my vessel has improved, it’s nothing compared to my mind, spirit and soul which has reached even greater heights. Still growing, still getting better day by day."
Cordae teased the new album in a freestyle last month, which was done over Drake and Future's "Way 2 Sexy." He also told Apple Music that the songs on his Just Until…. EP that dropped earlier this year will not be on the album.
Cordae explained, "No, they won’t be on the album, it’s two completely separate entities. The idea behind the Just Until… four-pack was just to put out some collection of some high-level loosies, you know what I’m saying? And just to hold fans over till I finished this album really.”
