Two of Hip Hop's most legendary acts nearly became involved in a rap feud Crooked I warned would further divide the culture at the top of 2021.

Eminem and Snoop Dogg had a brief dispute after Snoop left Slim Shady out of his top 10. While Eminem claimed he wasn't upset at the upset, he was offended by Snoop's dismissive tone when explaining why he wasn't included on the list.

Eminem later took a shot at Snoop on his "Zeus" track, causing the west coast legend to label the diss "soft a** s***." Despite the misunderstanding, Snoop later revealed the two were still friends. In a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, Snoop Dogg explained how the feud ended and admitted to being "out of pocket" when talking about Eminem.

"Man, I love Eminem and the thing is that we love Hip-Hop so much, we competitive," Snoop said. "We battle rappers, so that was supposed to trigger that in him but we brothers and we family so we learned to appreciate each other for what we do and how we get down."

Snoop added that he had a long conversation with the Detroit rapper about their mutual respect and came to an agreement on how they should publicly speak about each other. Snoop also said he apologized to Eminem and admitted to being "out of pocket" when talking about his legacy.

During his recent sit-down with The Breakfast Club, Snoop also talked about the recent passing of his mother, his Def Jam role, and his upcoming album, The Algorithm.
