Previously, Soulja Boy aired out his issues with Kanye West after West reportedly reached out to Big Draco for his ‘DONDA’ album and got a verse from him, only to scrap the verse. Since then, Soulja Boy has given more thoughts on why he lashed out at Ye.
While on DJ Akademiks’ ‘Off The Record’ podcast, Soulja Boy spoke about being left off of the “Remote Control” track that ended up on West’s album. Akademiks brush on a possible apology to the rapper, which led Soulja Boy to say, “I ain’t apologizing for shit. I don’t really know how to feel.”
From there, Soulja Boy gave more detail about why he called out Ye, saying, “All I wanted was an explanation. I feel like I got played…But it’s all love, with time passing and shit like that it ain’t like I’m on some ‘I hate this n***a Kanye blah blah.’” This came after Soulja Boy showed messages from West to Akademiks, saying, “Didn’t he make it look like I was gonna be on there though?”
Soulja Boy then talked about his Twitter rant towards West, saying, “I ain’t even call it trolling bruh ‘cause it was real. I just had to speak my mind and let a n***a know, don’t be doing no s**t like that, bruh.” Watch above.
